Dale Kennedy, Chairman
Dale is a Dentist in Athens, TN. Just this year he was promoted to Chairman of the DPWC, after having served for many years. Dale is very active in his practice, and enjoys time with his family and serving at church.
Nadim practices in Maryville, TN with over 30 years of providing total dental care since 1987. He has served as President on the State of Tennessee Board of Dentistry, and is a member of the ADA, TDA, and 2nd District Dental Society. Dr. Jubran volunteers for Remote Area Medical, and Interfaith Clinic of Knoxville, to name a few, to provide dental care to those in need.
Nancy is retired as Professor Emeritus from UTHSC College of Health Professions. She held a joint appointment in the College of Dentistry. She continues to serve on the Wellness Committee, an honor she has enjoyed since 1993. She is an avid equestrian enjoying both jumpers and gaited pleasure horses. She hopes her horse, Shiloh, will continue to carry her through fox hunting and field trials for years to come.
Larry is a dentist in Knoxville, TN. He has just begun serving on the DPWC! Larry plays bass guitar and is part of a local Knoxville band. When he vacations, you can find him in Kaui, Hawaii. Larry’s favorite book is the Bible and his favorite quote comes from it: “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
MaryLou’s career started in 1973 as a CDA for many years, continuing on to Dental Hygiene, graduating from RSCC in 1994. She has had a long and prestigious career in dental hygiene and is still actively involved today. MaryLou has served on our Wellness Committee since 2000. MaryLou believes we are never too old to learn. She believes in helping others, and most of all, to pay it forward. Her hobbies & interests are gardening, growing roses, clogging, and Southern Gospel music. She enjoys traveling with her husband Jim and spending time at their Florida home.
Coley has been practicing since 2001. He and his wife have two daughters that keep them busy. He values the interaction with his patients and strives to keep them on the cusp of conventional dental care. He is a avid lover of fast pitch softball and football. His philosophy: “Hard work becomes easy when work becomes your play”
Wayne McElhiney, Director Emeritus
Wayne finished his pharmacy degree and his dental degree and practiced dentistry for a number of years. He served as the Director of the Wellness Committee for approximately 10 years. His leadership lead our Committee to be recognized as one of the best in the nation.
