Our Funding
The majority of funding for the Tennessee Dental Wellness Foundation (TDWF) comes from a grant from the State of Tennessee through the Tennessee Board of Dentistry. We are thankful for their belief and support in our efforts. At this time, the TDWF could not survive without the grant.
The grant alone, however, is not enough to cover operating expenses for the TDWF in its entirety. The TDWF often has to count on its reserve funds. Of course, these reserve funds would be depleted if not continually replenished.
While we have and continue to receive donations from individual donors, dental supply companies, insurance companies, the Tennessee Dental Association’s Foundation, and the public at large, it is only through joining hands and partnering together that we can continue to restore lives, save careers, and serve patients.
